Eliot Porter is an American photographer. He enjoyed taking photos of nature, especially more colorful backgrounds, plants, and animals. Eliot Porter lived a long life from 1901-1990, where his photography inspiration began with Ansel Adams, whom his brother introduced him to in the 1930s. Before becoming a photographer, Eliot attended Harvard University to pursue and study chemical engineering. Ever since he was a child he had a small passion for taking photos, after meeting his inspiration his career took off.
